Extracurricular Activities

• Awarded Outstanding Delegate in Cathedral and John Connon School MUN, Mumbai. The committee simulated an Asian Regional Conference with emphasis on the Belt and Road Initiative by China. Placed 2nd from a committee of over 70 delegates. Helped La Martiniere for Boys secure the Best Delegation award as well.

• Awarded Outstanding Delegate in Sri Sri Academy MUN, Kolkata. The committee simulated the Lok Sabha, Indian Parliament, and discussed the IT Bill and its various implications on society. Helped La Martiniere for Boys secure the Best Delegation award as well.

• Awarded High Commendation in The Heritage School MUN, Kolkata. The committee simulated an African Regional Conference discussing the rise of non-state actors in the region. Helped La Martiniere for Boys secure the Outstanding Delegation award as well.

• Awarded Special Mention in JACOMUN hosted by  St. James’ School, Kolkata. The committee simulated an iconic All-India Political Party meet in 1947 to frame the constitution for India. Helped La Martiniere for Boys secure the Outstanding Delegation award as well.

An annual international-level Inter-School Mathematics Competition organized by Aditya Birla World Academy in association with BITS Pilani.

• Selected out of 250 to represent the school in the Infinity Inter-School Mathematics Olympiad organized by the Aditya Birla World Academy in association with BITS Pilani.

• Qualified after placing 1st in Eastern India, winning the “Zonal Math Challenger of the Year” award.

• Won bronze certificate in the Advanced Clash of Mathematicians round (out of over 1600 students).    

A summer program combining academic prowess, camping experience, and leadership training.

• Attended a two-week leadership course for enterprising boys and girls passionate about impacting the world.

An international online competitive coding competition with 50+ schools participating (200+ participants). Students had to design codes to solve complex problems using programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++ under a time crunch. 

• Submitted proposal to attend the event. Decided the final team and assisted them. 

• Secured 1st position in the final round, winning a cash prize of Rs 5000.                         

• Placed 1st in competitive coding event at BOSCO FEST 23 organized by Don Bosco School Park Circus, Kolkata. 

• Awarded 1st prize in BOSCOTSAV 23 organized by Don Bosco School Liluah, Kolkata.

• Secured 1st position in Hackathon at Combat of Code 22 hosted by Calcutta International School, Kolkata.

• Awarded 1st prize in LOGIQUE 22 hosted by Delhi Public School, Ruby Park, Kolkata.

• Won the best mobile app at Code Day 23.

• Awarded Silver Medal in Exypnos 21, an Intra School Coding Competition, La Martiniere for Boys, Kolkata.       

• Attended a two-week intensive summer program where students are exposed to real-world engineering and problem-solving.

• Learned Game Design and Software Development from Dr. Ravi Jasuja, Co-founder, Plaksha University and Dr. Hanumant Singh, Director, Multidisciplinary Centre for Robotics, Northeastern University.

• Awarded Best Problem Solver.

• Conducted projects on Construction of Drones, 3D Design & CAD Modelling, Virtual Reality, Home Automation & IoT, Electronics & Robotics.

• Learned using various modeling and computing softwares such as Fusion 360, Arduino, etc.

• Assembled and programmed a Drone as well as a Virtual Reality headset.

• Attended a 48-week intensive coding course, ‘Whitehat Junior,’ to inspire creativity and instill problem-solving skills.

• Learned various programming languages such as JS, CSS, HTML, and Python and designed a web version of the popular Angry Bird game.

• Honored with the title of Certified Stack Developer awarded to the top 1% of programmers with core Programming Skills, Design Thinking and Advanced AI App Development skills.

• Received the “Code of Honour” award for being a Silicon Valley Challenge finalist.
